Guideline for Scientific Symposium

1. Submission Overview

Scientific Symposium presentations should focus on original research, scientific advances, and evidence-based findings relevant to animal production. Presenters are encouraged to include research background, objectives, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions that contribute to the advancement of animal science.

Each Scientific Symposium presenter is required to complete two separate submissions. The first submission is a one-page paper or abstract in Word format. The second submission is a PowerPoint presentation file in PPT or PPTX format. Both submissions must be made through your AAAP 2026 account at https://submission.aaap2026.org/.

Industrial Symposium presentations should focus on practical applications, industry innovations, and real-world solutions relevant to animal production. Presenters are encouraged to include company or organization background, practical challenges and solutions, case studies, products or technologies relevant to the industry, and future outlook.

Each Industrial Symposium presenter is required to complete two separate submissions. The first submission is one-page paper or abstract in Word format. The second submission is a PowerPoint presentation file in PPT or PPTX format. Both submissions must be made through your AAAP 2026 account at https://submission.aaap2026.org/.

2. One-Page Paper/ Abstract Submission

You can submit an ONE-PAGE PAPER if your manuscript is an original research or an ABSTRACT if your manuscript is review work.

2.1. Prepare Your one-page paper/ Abstract

For preparing one-page paper, please read the Submission guidelinese at https://aaap2026.org/submission-guideline/ and download one-page paper template at https://aaap2026.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/One-page-Paper-Template-V7.doc

For preparing abstract, your abstract is not limited to one A4 page and does not have to follow the structure of a one-page paper. However, format, citation (option) and references (option) must follow the submission guidelines.

2.2. Create Your AAAP 2026 Account

If you do not have an AAAP 2026 account, please create one at:

2.3. Submit Your One-page paper/ Abstract

Menu activation

Before the submission, please send your account ID to sc@aaap2026.org. Your submission menu will be activated by the Scientific Committee.

One-page paper submission

  • Click on the Submission menu to start the submission after logging into your account
  • Fill in all required fields
  • Select preferred scientific symposium in Topic field and Oral in Presentation type
  • Upload your one-page paper file in the Word format to Upload Paper on MS Word Format
  • Click Submit menu to complete the submission.

Abstract submission

  • Click on the Submission menu to start the submission after logging into your account
  • Fill in the required fields named Title of One-Page Paper, Author name(s), Author affiliation(s), Name and Email of presenting Author. Fill in the rest of the required fields by typing NA
  • Select preferred scientific symposium in Topic field and Oral in Presentation type
  • Upload your abstract file in the Word format to Upload Paper on MS Word Format
  • Click Submit menu to complete the submission.

3. Submit Powerpoint Presentation File

After your abstract has been accepted, you will be invited to submit your PowerPoint presentation file.

3.1. Slide Format

  • Required slide size 16:9 widescreen
  • Language of presentation English
  • Recommended fonts Aptos, Calibri, Arial, Segoe UI
  • Recommended font sizes: Slide Title (32 pt), Main Content (24 pt), Image Captions and Chart Annotations (18 pt).

3.2. Presentation Time

Presenters are required to be in the room 15 minutes in advance before the start of the session. Presentation time will be confirmed by the session chair. Unless otherwise specified, presentations are allocated 5-45 minutes, including Q&A.

For administrative reasons, we kindly ask all Industrial Symposium presenters to fill in the form, including personal information, a portrait photo, and a brief biography at:
https://forms.gle/xA7185FTc3gxmkUK8. Ignore this step if you have already completed it.
