Visa Information for International Participants
Attending Events in Vietnam
Most international visitors entering Vietnam are required to obtain a valid visa. Currently, travelers may choose to apply for an electronic visa (e-visa), submit an application directly at a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate, or make use of visa exemption arrangements, where applicable.
Electronic Visa (E-visa)
Vietnam offers an online e-visa application system for citizens of most countries. The e-visa is valid for up to 90 days and allows single or multiple entries. This visa is accepted at designated entry and exit points, including all international airports. Visa Application at Vietnamese Embassies/Consulates
Participants may also apply for a visa in person at a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in their home country. This option is suitable for those who require a longer period of stay or prefer the traditional visa application process.
Visa Exemption
Citizens of certain countries are permitted to enter Vietnam without a visa for a specified period (for example, up to 45 days).
