Talk title: Animal feed in the future: Challege and possible solution

Le Duc Ngoan, Professor in Animal Nutrition, has more than 45 years of experience in higher education, scientific research, and academic development in Animal Sciences in the University of Agriculture and Forestry, Hue University, Vietnam. Throughout his distinguished career, he has made valuable contributions to animal nutrition, better available feed resource utilization, and sustainable livestock production.

His research has particularly focused on the nutritional evaluation and effective utilization of locally available feed resources, including tropical forages and agricultural by-products, to improve livestock productivity and feed efficiency. His work has also contributed to a better understanding of alternative feed ingredients and their potential to reduce feed costs while supporting environmentally responsible animal production. These research directions are especially relevant to tropical production systems, where the efficient use of local resources is essential for improving the sustainability and resilience of livestock farming.

Beyond his research activities, Professor Le Duc Ngoan has dedicated himself to teaching, mentoring young scientists, and advancing scientific knowledge in animal science. His academic work reflects a strong commitment to linking scientific research with practical applications in livestock production.
