Prof. Zhao Yunxiang

Talk title: Framework Development and Enterprise Case Study of Whole-Domain Digital and Intelligent Breeding

Dr. Yunxiang Zhao is a Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Postdoctoral Supervisor at Guangxi University. He has been selected for major national and regional talent programs, including the National High-Level Talent Program and the Bagui Scholars Program. He currently serves as a Breeding Position Scientist of the China Agriculture Research System for Swine and as Director of Breeding at Guangxi Yangxiang Co., Ltd.Professor Zhao has long focused on pig genetics and breeding, reproductive biotechnology, biomedical animal models, and intelligent livestock production. His research achievements have received several major awards, including the First Prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, and the First Prize of the Guangxi Science and Technology Progress Award. He has also been honored as an Outstanding Science and Technology Worker of Guangxi and received the Guangxi May 1st Labor Medal.He has published more than 60 academic papers in journals including Nature Genetics and Advanced Science and holds 24 authorized invention patents.
