Prof. Juan J. Loor

Talk title: Nutritional Modulation of Rumen and Epithelial Metabolism During Heat Challenge in Dairy Cows
Career Highlights
Dr. Juan J. Loor is an internationally recognized leader in dairy cattle biology,
nutrigenomics, systems biology, immunometabolism, and multi-omics research. His work has advanced understanding of nutritional regulation of metabolism, inflammation, oxidative stress, gut function, and developmental programming in livestock.

Research Impact
32,241 citations, h-index 89, and i10-index 503. Pioneer in applying transcriptomics, metabolomics, microbiomics, bioinformatics, and systems biology to animal nutrition. Author of hundreds of peer-reviewed publications that established modern concepts in one-carbon metabolism, immunometabolism, microbiome-host interactions, and heatstress resilience.
