As part of the 21st Asian-Australasian Association of Animal Production (AAAP 2026), SAGA Symposium will take place on 29–30 October 2026, bringing together local and international experts and researchers to discuss advances in genomics and biotechnology for livestock and crop improvement, as well as solutions for sustainable agriculture.
Day 1: 07:30 – 17:40, 29 October 2026
Topic: Genomics in Animal Breeding and Livestock Improvement
Presentations will focus on the application of genomics in animal breeding, genetic improvement, animal health and welfare, biotechnology, and emerging approaches to disease diagnostics.
Day 2: 07:30 – 21:00, 30 October 2026
Topic: Genomics and Innovation for Sustainable Agriculture
Sessions will expand the discussion to plant genomics, improving animal feed resources, biotechnology for crop protection, and innovative solutions to enhance agricultural resilience to climate change.
With a two-day scientific programme featuring international speakers, SAGA Symposium will provide opportunities for academic exchange, research sharing, and discussion of new approaches to applying genomics and biotechnology in livestock production and crop cultivation. The symposium will also help strengthen connections between scientists, experts, and agricultural practitioners, promote the application of scientific and technological advances, and support the development of sustainable agriculture that is resilient to climate change.
SAGA Symposium will be held on 29–30 October 2026 at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, Vietnam, as part of AAAP 2026.
